At BrilliantRead Media, we always strive to bring meaningful and powerful stories from India and around the world to empower and motivate our growing community. As part of this endeavour, we invited Jyoti Gupta for an exclusive interview with us. Jyoti is a Holistic Life Coach, Advanced NLP Expert, Corporate Trainer, Motivational Speaker and an Influencer. Let’s learn more about her background, journey and her advice for our community!

Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Jyoti:

Could you please talk us through your background and your journey?

I have spent 9 enriching years in prominent HR roles at Schneider Electric and Shoppers’ Stop, and I have honed my understanding of the intricacies of human dynamics within corporate settings. In 2018, after attending Certified NLP Workshops, I made a pivotal decision to be full time Emotional and Mental Health Coach, specializing in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP). Since then, my mission has been clear: to guide others through their emotional complexities, mental health challenges, and interpersonal struggles.

My methodology is grounded in a blend of optimism, enthusiasm, and therapeutic practices. Utilizing the impactful techniques of New Code NLP, healing, and journaling. I assist my clients in addressing a wide range of difficulties, including stress, anxiety, anger management, relationship issues, parenting challenges, and postpartum concerns, to name a few.

After my daughter was born in January 2022, I immediately went into Post-Partum Depression. I knew ‘When & Why’? (being into the Life Coaching field for so long).  It was just a matter of time for me to ask for the Right Professional Help/Support from my Mentors, and then I started working on myself with the help of one of my colleagues.

Even after that, I continued to focus on self-improvement, delving deeply into literature about postpartum depression, motherhood, parenting, Brain Science and various influential self-help books. I signed up for a few workshops with Robin Sharma, and participated in Dr. Hew Len’s Ho’oponopono healing sessions.

I also started exploring other modalities, tools, and techniques of Personal Excellence and went deeper into Healing. Technically, I wasn’t on a break, as most people think Motherhood is a complete break. In fact, in 2023, I started taking clients along with starting my YouTube Channel and Instagram Account (10xlifegrowthhacker) where I started posting helpful videos related to Motherhood, Parenting, Emotional-Mental topics.

In 2017, when I began actively helping others, I witnessed remarkable transformations in each client during our time together. It goes beyond just overcoming challenges; it’s about realizing breakthroughs. These experiences fill my heart with unexplainable joy, satisfaction, and gratitude, encouraging me to continue helping even more individuals! My distinctive approach has enabled individuals to develop 10x identities and achieve revolutionary breakthroughs in all areas of their lives.

Alongside my consulting endeavours, I was privileged to feature on a radio program where I discussed personal development topics with a broader audience during the pandemic.

Additionally, I am engaged with the Army community to support personnel and their families on their distinct journeys. My guest appearance on “All India Radio FM Rainbow” with RJ Aarti Malhotra allowed me to motivate change and provide encouragement.

How did you discover your passion?

As far as I remember, I have always been a Contributor, Smile & Positivity Generator, Hope Creator and Problem Solver. This is the reason I chose Human Resource Management (HRM) as my Major subject in Graduation as well as my Master Degree.

I love my Work; it’s the reason and purpose to live. I love interacting with people and, I love bringing ideas together. I am blessed that I have discovered my Life Purpose early. My only aim while working with clients is to move them ‘from information to transformation’

I have witnessed some incredible breakthroughs in my own life, and that passion is fueled mainly because of my first-hand experiences, plus witnessing miraculous breakthroughs in people’s lives I have worked with!

Also, I am the person who does everything with deep passion, not just for the sake of external validation; either I do something with my whole heart or don’t do it.

Who do you believe has been the biggest source of motivation in your daily life?

I have consistently aimed to achieve excellence in all areas of my life, firmly believing in the concept of Personal Mastery. I delve into spirituality and seek to understand the intricacies of the human mind, all while adhering to the teachings and thoroughly examining the works of Sadhguru ji, Robin Sharma, Tony Robbins, Brian Tracy, Dr. John Grinder, Richard Bandler, Ram Verma, and my own mentors.

I have also been influenced by Sheryl Sandberg, Dr. Kiran Bedi, Indira Nooyi, Kiran Shaw Majumdar, and Sudha Murthy Ji. My parents’ life journey (especially my mother) is another source from where I draw my strength. I have also taken the Guru Diksha, and this hidden blessing is my Sanctuary.

My Husband is the true embodiment of Equal Partnership in Life and Parenting; he has always inspired me to do well. He has been rock-solid support in most of my life-altering decisions.

What are some of the strategies that you believe have helped you grow as a person?

I believe in finding the true meaning of life, I am forever fascinated towards Spirituality and the human mind. The natural hunger for doing better in my own life has always propelled me to discover some incredible transformative tools, especially when I was at the lowest phase in my life (Post Partum Depression).

Being in the field of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), a single Breakthrough technology in the field of personal development has immensely enabled me to grow as a person in every aspect.

Journaling and practising Gratitude alongside Meditation have quietly influenced my life. As a devoted reader of selected Heroic literature (as Robin Sharma suggests), I’ve expanded my professional perspective and uncovered several Aha moments in my life.

In your opinion, what are the keys to success?

Being Curious and Positive about life, practicing Mindfulness, moving your Body (Exercise has to be non-negotiable) reading great books (specially Non fictional ones) and seeking expert or professional help not only when something is going wrong, but also to elevate your life to the next level, finding true Purpose of your life, building core capabilities will actually enable you to live a wholesome fulfilled life in true sense.

What advice would you give to our readers?

I don’t believe in giving unsolicited general advice; I believe in empowering and enabling people.

However, for the benefit of the BrilliantRead community, here are a few:

a) What is the missing piece in everyone’s life? It’s Human Behavior, and that’s where being Emotionally Resilient comes into play with the right approach, because behaviours don’t happen at the conscious level. We react the way we do because we don’t have control over our patterns and Emotional State. The moment you are empowered to control them (Patterns & State), you will be able to Respond Resourcefully in most situations.

b) Repair your past to be better prepared for your future. Most of the time, we are all living in the Past or the Future. Only when you repair your past then you will be able to truly live in the Present and create the desired future from the Resourceful/Clean State of Mind! No matter how hard you try or apply every technique of goal setting or will Power, sooner or later you will fall back to the old limiting patterns.

c) The hardest yet simple truth is that ” the only place for Change is within you, not the environment or any other person.

d) You do not need to know fully, consciously, everything you want out of life. Sometimes you need to act on the impulse of your soul or Intuition, and that’ where the Reverse Engineer of Personal Growth science comes into play.

e) In today’s world, obtaining technical knowledge, gathering information, tons of generic tools, techniques are easier than ever. But, HOW do you put them into Action for YOU is the hardest part of all
